California State Men?s Professional Squash Championships?goes ?Open?

Hosted by The Los Angeles Athletic and the Jonathan Club, located in downtown L.A., the 2005 CB Richard Ellis California State Men?s Professional Squash Championships Committee has elected to ?Open? the event to professional squash players from across the nation. These Championships will take place over the Friday through Sunday weekend of January 14-16, 2005.
Formally a ?closed? event, where only residents of California were allowed to play, this year, the event will feature top players from nine different cities in the U.S. Expected to compete are Mark Allen, San Francisco, CA; Stefan Casteleyn, Santa Monica, CA; Richard Elliott, Redwood City, CA; Ronen Goldberg, Studio City, CA; Ayman Karim, Albuquerque, NM; Jonathan Perry, Santa Clara, CA; Beau River, Chicago, IL; Dan Sharplin, Boston, MA; Karim Yehia, New York, NY.
The event, co-sponsored by Feather Sports USA, will also feature a four-player women?s professional round robin, open and age group doubles, a full compliment of men?s and women?s skill-levels and age group singles divisions. All entry applications are due no later than Friday, January 7, 2005.
